Lobster Mac 'n Cheese with Truffle Seasoning

Popcorn seasoning doesn't have to just be for your popcorn! I love Truffle Season's truffle popcorn seasonings so much that I thought why not incorporate it into my everyday cooking?

This baked lobster mac 'n cheese recipe seasoned with aged white cheddar truffle is a scrumptious and easy way to bring comfort and class to your dinner table.

4 Servings, Approx. 45 Mins

What You'll Need

For the Lobster

  • 2 medium lobster tails, cooked, shelled and chopped (more if you want your pasta to be meatier)

  • 2 Tbsp Butter, melted

  • 1 tsp salt

  • 1 tsp pepper

  • 1 tsp Paprika

  • 1 tsp Lemon Juice

For the Pasta

All You Need To Do

  1. Preheat oven to 450° F.

  2. Cook your lobster tails. Butterfly your lobster. (Here's a good video on how to.)

  3. In a small bowl combine all of your lobster ingredients together.

  4. Place your lobster onto a baking sheet and brush on the butter mixture evenly.

  5. Cook for 10 mins. Set aside to allow it to cool.

  6. Prepare your pasta. Grease your baking dish with cooking spray.

  7. In a large pot, melt 2 Tbsp of butter on medium heat. Then add flour and whist it until fulling combined.

  8. Pour in 1¼ cups of water and whisk it until it's smooth and slightly thickens.

  9. Add your milk and continue to whisk until it's combined.

  10. Add pasta, salt, garlic, onion, paprika and pepper and whisk until it's completely combined and let it simmer for about 10 mins until your pasta is done.

  11. Turn the heat down to low and add your mozzarella, cheddar and havarti cheese and stir. If your sauce seems too thick, add a Tbsp of milk.

  12. Remove the lobster from its shell and chop it into chunks.

  13. Fold the lobster into the pasta and transfer into your baking dish.

  14. In a small bowl, add panko, truffle seasoning and parsley and mix until combined.

  15. Melt your remaining 1 Tbsp of butter and add to your panko mixture until combined.

  16. Sprinkle the panko on top of your pasta.

  17. Bake for 15 mins or until the breadcrumbs is a golden brown.

  18. Sprinkle parsley on top for garnish if desired.

  19. Enjoy!
