![If it smells like pho, looks like pho and tastes just like pho...it must be pho! 🍜
I got the opportunity to try out @oceanshalo from @wholefoods so I tested it on the toughest critic...my Vietnamese mom @misoasianma
And the verdict? She says it tastes like pho but with a heavy cumin flavoring. I think she meant coriander. I do agree the seasoning was stronger than I like in my pho broth but the flavor was definitely there!
So I dressed it up a little more by adding water, fish sauce and palm sugar. And it was fantastic and it still saved me hours of broth making and is tasty in a pinch when you have a craving for some quick pho.
They have other broth flavors like ramen and Thai coconut. Can't wait to try those too!

Do you have days where you need to halt and take a step back? I certainly do.
I feel like days run together and we're always on the go. But quick meals doesn't have to be slop slapped together or overly complicated. Sometimes simplicity can be pure perfection.
This Lemon Tuna Pasta was made in under 15 mins and it doesn't skimp on flavor thanks to @starkistcharlie tuna creations. The perfect fuel good, feel good meal.
Here's how it's done:
🍝 8oz Spaghetti, cooked
🍝 ½ Cup Pasta Water
🐟 2 2.6oz Packets of Tuna Creation, flavor of your choice (I used Herb & Garlic)
🍝 2 Tbsp Avocado Oil
🍝 1 Lemon, zested and Juiced
🍝 ¼ Cup Capers
🍝 2 Tbsp Parsley, Chopped
🍝 Handful of Mushrooms, Optional (I used Golden Oyster Mushrooms)
🍝 2 Tbsp Parmesan, shredded or shaved
🍝 Salt and Pepper, to taste
We have this dish quite often for lunch which but to keep it interesting, Iswitch up the tuna creation flavor! So needless to say, I like to keep our pantry stocked up with these packets.
